Power of the Mind

- Titan was happy that they finally docked and untied Jericho. He was the first to get off the ship only to have guns from the guards aimed at him. The scientists had beat them there and came out to unload the rest of the stuff Whispers' squad had brought along. Titan ran around the guards and when done they were hanging upside down from the roof of the hanger by their gun straps. He couldn't help but laugh but that was soon cut short with another growl from his stomach. - " So where do I find food in this place"

- He said to himself and decided it was best just to wait on the others since he already has had to two tie two guards. The last thing he needed was to go through fighting the largest Xcom base for no apparent reason. -

Arriving at the space stAtion he had just realized he was tied up. The power suit had located a medium sized tumor on his temporal lobe which could explain his short term memory loss. He made a note within the suits system to get it fixed.

He then stood up and exited the shuttle wondering what he would find as the power suit went back into the brief case mode

Whisper kept walking, radioing the guards.

"escort Titan to the chow hall, and keep the suit under escort. Bring them to the communication room when they are done."

His squad went to go rest some, repair and get doctored up. Raven went off to her normal hiding spot, in case of an emergency. Rubbing his neck, Whisper went in and started on his report to all xcom bases, informing them about the vein in the aliens neck as well as the cubes could explode, being potential bombs if the assault is failing.

- The guards told Titan their orders and he let them down while they escorted him to the mess hall. Titan was quick about eating so he could get some rest and had the guards take him to a place to sleep. So not to be interrupted or tested on while sleeping he smushed the walls in on the door to the room then jumped in bed. -

" so I take it there is a lot I don't know about what's going on?" He asked the man who was giving out information before taking the power suit turning it back into the suitcase.

- The next morning the death ship Zion was in arrived in earth's orbit. He pressed a button and the ship turned into eight separate empty black cubes like before. Zion floated in space next to them apparently unaffected by the vacuum of space. Zion telepathically shut down all of earths satellites leaving their defenses uninformed of his presence. -

- Zion held his hand forward and the cubes first got bigger than smashed in country of earth, mainly the superpowers. It was like dropping four atomic bombs with only one cube. The earth was finally alarmed of the attack but Zion was relentless as an armada of ships became visible, they were cloaking themselves. Zion had them first engage on earth's grounds and set up the cubes to where if they failed they could still wipe earth life with a barrage of these monster explosions. -

- As Xcom's alarms went off Titan jumped up and left the room to look out at the closest window. He gritted his teeth seeing his home being ravaged. The united nations meeting was decided to be convened to decide if they should use the world's nuclear arms to fight the aliens with. Earth would never be the same if they did and there was no guarantee that it would be effective. -

Awaking to the noise he had forgotten where he was. His suit held a note written on paper in his hand writing explaining the situation. As he tried to remember a sharp pain errupted from his skull. Putting the suit on it released a medication to reduce any pain which he installed long ago incase of he being heavily damaged. Once the pain was sedated he rose and went to look for someone to tell him what was going on.

Alarms were screaming as Whisper slammed his last boot on and was running out, his plasma rifle slung over his back as he ran into the communications room, Reading reports as the commander was issuing orders.

"sir, alpha squad wishes to help with the highest threat is."

Whisper stated as his squad cam in behind him. The scans were pinging zion but there wasn't much other then for the firestorm hybrid fighters to go out and fight him.

" There is no need for the entire squad Whisper" - Titan said as he walked in behind them. Apparently he was seeking out answers as well and end of following the Xcom Telepath. Titan was a little shocked to found out it was Zion who in the past he could consider a friend, something must of happen to push him in this direction. As much as he wanted to help, Zion couldn't be forgiven for earth's innocences being put in danger. -

" Well from past experiences I know for a fact he will rip your men apart, get a space suit whisper. The two of us will face Zion. " - He was counting on Whispers telepathy to slow down Zion so he could deliver the hard blows. He was also hoping that they just agreed and didn't let their pride cause a mass homicide. Zion was nothing to be tested with and one of the few beings he didn't have to hold back with. -

Stumbling through the corridors he found the room everyone was in. He figued the armoured men where the special forces he mentioned in his note and the guy with the mask was the speedster "what's going on?" He stood up straight looking at the screen

Whisper raised an eyebrow, before shrugging.

"you have prior battle experience, but note i'm a sniper, i'm not handy in a hand to hand fight."

Whisper left to grab a suit and to talk to echo, setting up a plan B in case things went bad. Returning donned in skin tight suit that saved him from the vacuum of space and allow him to keep breathing. Walking over to an exit port for maintenance, he gestured to Titan.

"after you princess."

- Titan chuckled and got a running start before jumping out the ship. He moved his legs and arms in a swimming like motion extremely fast to move. Titan took the time to point to a spot on top of the space station that would be a nice sniper point. Once closing in on Zion he didn't waist words and ramed himself into the godlike alien. -

- Zion wasn't invulnerable but had enough endurance to take the blunt of the attack. Both men went hurling closer to earth but Zion knocked Titan off and then punched him in the face. It sent the hero into the space station blowing up alot of important parts and causing the entire station to get knocked into earth's orbit. Not having anything operational to them from being pulled into to earth by it's gravity the station slowly started moving into earth's atmosphere. -

- Titan switched focus after pulling himself from being lodged in the station and now had to stop this giant thing from blowing up on the ground. He first ran along the side to grab Whisper and get back in side. He needed something to aid him with flight seeing he was merely a runner. Zion wouldn't wait up for them to get back into a fighting chance and smashed himself into the station as well making it fall faster. Zion created an armor suit out of the black substance the cubes used with his matter manipulation his telekinesis gave him. -

- The station now basically in earth allowed those inside to breathe oxygen without the ship needing to provide it. Titan looked around the room for something he could use to help but couldn't find anything except an shock grenade attached to Echo's arsenal of gadgets. He shrugged his shoulders and grabbed it than jumped out the roof of the room and landed outside where Zion was riding down the ship. Zion tried to rush Titan but got smashed in the face with the grenade in hand, the impact knocked Zion off the station shocking at the same time. -

- Now that Zion was falling as well and more importantly not on the station, Titan could focus on saving everyone. Titan jumped off the station pulling off a slab of metal as he went. The station and him were falling about the same speed until Titan held the metal under his feet and pushed off it to increase his speed to where he rocketed into the ground. The impact left him a little dizzy but getting up wasn't a problem at all now all had to do was catch a station a hundred times his size in his bare hands. -

- Should be easy right, wrong Zion came back for round three revealing his wings and the ability to fly pretty fast. Titan cursed as the alien tyrant rammed into him and they went hurling through buildings while the station continued to found and caught fire in the the front. Titan thought this had to be the worst day ever as he was being held by the neck against the ground, he wouldn't stay in that position long as he monkey flipped Zion over and off of him. Now free he rammed into Zion knocking him into another building, He then ran to the tallest building he could find that was in the falling area of the station and was there in enough time to catch station which initially made him go to one knee but he soon was able to hold it up straight. -

Whisper reached out mentally, hoping to maybe find some weakness of this guy, an opening or fault whisper can exploit.

Meanwhile His team would use the archangel jump suits to glide down to the nearest building and set up postion, firing at the alien monarch.

- Titan sat the station down safely while the team distracted Zion. Zion was completely immune to Whisper's telepathic power and could sense he was trying to use. The gun fire bounced off the made armor like fireworks on concrete and Titan knew he had to help the others but he wasn't very useful when his strength couldn't get past that armor. Zion targeted Whisper's men first lifting up Echo telekinetically and throwing him like a rag doll along the street. -

- Echo bounced like a bouncy ball the whole way down till Titan caught him. - <p style="color:red">You alright big guy</p> - The others Zion decided to telepathically destabilize their particles resulting in them exploding into dust. Zion then turned his attention to Whisper but was knocked into a building by Titan before he could do anymore damage. -

Waking up in a dizzy manner he opened his eyes and a vending machine had landed on him while the station was falling. Pushing the machine off he looked around seeing he was back on earth which made him happy. His suit read his vitals were good and the suit still had 49 percent battery which should last him a couple hours depending on what he would be doing. 

Flying out of the station he saw the soilders in some suits fight something he then saw the speedster put down the station "what the he'll is going on?" He landed on the ground trying to make sense of everything before his suit sent out a warning flare within the system. His tumor started to hurt him making him double up in pain while the suit injected him with the last amount of pain numbing soulution he had. Once he was able to regain his composure he started his small rockets and blasted off trying to find the enemy his unlikely allies were fighting.

Whisper screamed when he saw his team die, his mind reaching out and finding nothing there. Screaming still, He looked at the alien behind this, this Zion. He felt new power rising from his rage and grief. All he could think about was how he wanted to make this freak weak, to make him hurt like Whisper hurts now. Reaching out with his mind, he found he could touch the armor Zion created around him. Reaching a hand out and ripping it back, he would pull and tear at the armor, aiming to try to leave zion exposed.

- Zion's armor was ripped from his body and he immediately recognized the awakening of the telekinetic mind. The immediate threat was now this boy and he was planning to kill him before Titan. Titan saw the act and found it hard to believe this guy was becoming stronger but it was clear he hadn't reached Zion's mastery of the power. Zion lifted three buildings and threw them at whisper with his mind, Titan smashed each from the air causing a large amount of collateral damage.

- Zion smacked Titan aside while the hero was still in the air and was charging at whisper with full speed. Titan hit his back on the ground and bounced back up just as fast only to yell across the battlefield at whisper. - " MOVE "

Jericho saw the buildings being thrown by a alien that got his armour ripped apart somehow but he took his chance and fired multiple missiles aligned perfectly to hit each other from his wrists to the front of the alien. He then charged straight towards him timing it perfectly as the rockets hit each other and blewup infront of the alien which would have caused a smokescreen of sorts allowling Jericho to get close and try to strike the alien with a left hook

Whisper howled out, waving his hand in front of him as the rubble from the buildings stopped flying at him and began to circle him building power as Whisper glared at Zion.

"You fucked with the wrong planet ass hole."

Whisper said, mainly to himself as he flung his hand outward at the Alien, the rubble flying at him, aiming mainly for the head. Using the distraction, Whisper pulled his plasma rifle and fired a shot, Using his mind to guide the projectile through the rubble and into the back of the aliens head.

- Zion was fucked up, Titan threw his body into the ocean, end -
